linux/include/asm-alpha/thread_info.h

Linux-2.6.12-rc2 Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!

remove unused TIF_NOTIFY_RESUME flag Remove unused TIF_NOTIFY_RESUME flag for all processor architectures. The flag was not used excecpt on IA-64 where the patch replaces it with TIF_PERFMON_WORK. rename thread_info to stack This finally renames the thread_info field in task structure to stack, so that the assumptions about this field are gone and archs have more freedom about placing the thread_info structure. Nonbroken archs which have a proper thread pointer can do the access to both current thread and task structure via a single pointer. It'll allow for a few more cleanups of the fork code, from which e.g. ia64 could benefit.
