commit 0cfbd7805f upstream.
Despite CM_IDLEST1_CORE and CM_FCLKEN1_CORE behaving normal,
disabling SPI leads to messages like when suspending:
Powerdomain (core_pwrdm) didn't enter target state 0
and according to /sys/kernel/debug/pm_debug/count off state is not
entered. That was not connected to SPI during the discussion
of disabling SPI. See:
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-omap/20230122100852.32ae082c@aktux/
The reason is that SPI is per default in slave mode. Linux driver
will turn it to master per default. It slave mode, the powerdomain seems to
be kept active if active chip select input is sensed.
Fix that by explicitly disabling the SPI3 pins which used to be muxed by
the bootloader since they are available on an optionally fitted header
which would require dtb overlays anyways.

This change eliminates the need for software management of the power
switch, ensuring it transitions to the backup power source before
entering low power modes.
This is done in the only location where this switch was configured. It's
usually done in the bootloader.
Previously, the loss of the VDDANA (or VDDIN33) power source was not
automatically compensated by an alternative power source. This resulted
in the loss of Backup Unit content, including Backup Self-refresh low

The code for syncing vmalloc memory PGD pointers is using
atomic_read() in pair with atomic_set_release() but the
proper pairing is atomic_read_acquire() paired with
atomic_set_release().
This is done to clearly instruct the compiler to not
reorder the memcpy() or similar calls inside the section
so that we do not observe changes to init_mm. memcpy()
calls should be identified by the compiler as having
unpredictable side effects, but let's try to be on the

commit 96a64e9730 upstream.
Operating stable without reduced chip life at 1Ghz needs several
technologies working: The technologies involve
- SmartReflex
- DVFS
As this cannot directly specified in the OPP table as dependecies in the
devicetree yet, use the turbo flag again to mark this OPP as something
special to have some kind of opt-in.
So revert commit
5f1bf7ae84 ("ARM: dts: omap36xx: Remove turbo mode for 1GHz variants")
Practical reasoning:
At least the GTA04A5 (DM3730) has become unstable with that OPP enabled.
Furthermore nothing enforces the availability of said technologies,
even in the kernel configuration, so allow users to rather opt-in.

it for initial_boot_params which is in fixmap for arm64 will give an
incorrect value. Hence save the physical address when it is known at
boot time when calling early_init_dt_scan for arm64 and use it at kexec
time instead of converting the virtual address using __pa().
Note that arm64 doesn't need the FDT region reserved in the DT as the
kernel explicitly reserves the passed in FDT. Therefore, only a debug

Algorithm registration is usually carried out during module init,
where as little work as possible should be carried out. The SIMD
code violated this rule by allocating a tfm, this then triggers a
full test of the algorithm which may dead-lock in certain cases.
SIMD is only allocating the tfm to get at the alg object, which is
in fact already available as it is what we are registering. Use
that directly and remove the crypto_alloc_tfm call.
Also remove some obsolete and unused SIMD API.

The RTC and RTT peripherals use the timing domain slow clock (TD_SLCK),

The previously used Monitoring domain slow clock (MD_SLCK) is sourced

Instead of directly dereferencing page tables entries, which can cause
issues (see commit 20a004e7b0 ("arm64: mm: Use READ_ONCE/WRITE_ONCE when
accessing page tables"), let's introduce new functions to get the
pud/p4d/pgd entries (the pte and pmd versions already exist).
Note that arm pgd_t is actually an array so pgdp_get() is defined as a
macro to avoid a build error.
Those new functions will be used in subsequent commits by the riscv
architecture.

commit 8512fbb64b upstream.
On the imx6dl-yapp4 revision based boards, the RGB LED is not driven
directly by the LP5562 driver but through FET transistors. Hence the LED
current is not determined by the driver but by the LED series resistors.
On the imx6dl-yapp43 revision based boards, we removed the FET transistors
to drive the LED directly from the LP5562 but forgot to tune the output
current to match the previous HW design.
Set the LED current on imx6dl-yapp43 based boards to the same values
measured on the imx6dl-yapp4 boards and limit the maximum current to 20mA.

There is a comment in the imx6q variant dtsi claiming that these
modules will have one more chip select than the imx6dl variant.

GPIO routed to the SPI0_CS1# pin of the SMARC connector.
