[ Upstream commit c24f272ae7 ]
During upstream process of Raspberry Pi 4 back in 2019 the ARMv7 stubs
didn't configured the ARM architectural timer. This firmware issue has
been fixed in 2020, which gave users enough time to update their system.
So drop this property to allow the use of the vDSO version of
clock_gettime.

commit 0cfbd7805f upstream.
Despite CM_IDLEST1_CORE and CM_FCLKEN1_CORE behaving normal,
disabling SPI leads to messages like when suspending:
Powerdomain (core_pwrdm) didn't enter target state 0
and according to /sys/kernel/debug/pm_debug/count off state is not
entered. That was not connected to SPI during the discussion
of disabling SPI. See:
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-omap/20230122100852.32ae082c@aktux/
The reason is that SPI is per default in slave mode. Linux driver
will turn it to master per default. It slave mode, the powerdomain seems to
be kept active if active chip select input is sensed.
Fix that by explicitly disabling the SPI3 pins which used to be muxed by
the bootloader since they are available on an optionally fitted header
which would require dtb overlays anyways.

A bus_dma_limit was added for l3 bus by commit cfb5d65f25
("ARM: dts: dra7: Add bus_dma_limit for L3 bus") to fix an issue
observed only with SATA on DRA7-EVM with 4GB RAM and CONFIG_ARM_LPAE
enabled.
Since kernel 5.13, the SATA issue can be reproduced again following
the SATA node move from L3 bus to L4_cfg in commit 8af15365a3
("ARM: dts: Configure interconnect target module for dra7 sata").
Fix it by adding an empty dma-ranges property to l4_cfg and
segment@100000 nodes (parent device tree node of SATA controller) to
inherit the 2GB dma ranges limit from l3 bus node.
Note: A similar fix was applied for PCIe controller by commit

SDMMC interface pins in GPIO mode (PA0 - PA13).
On this board, PA10 is used as GPIO to enable the power switch controlling

The GIC IRQ type used for IPCC RX should be IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH.
Replacing the interrupt with the EXTI event changes the type to
the numeric value 1, meaning IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_RISING.
The issue is that EXTI event 61 is a direct event. The IRQ type of
direct events is not used by EXTI and is propagated to the parent
IRQ controller of EXTI, the GIC.
Align the IRQ type to the value expected by the GIC by replacing
the second parameter "1" with IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH.

commit 96a64e9730 upstream.
Operating stable without reduced chip life at 1Ghz needs several
technologies working: The technologies involve
- SmartReflex
- DVFS
As this cannot directly specified in the OPP table as dependecies in the
devicetree yet, use the turbo flag again to mark this OPP as something
special to have some kind of opt-in.
So revert commit
5f1bf7ae84 ("ARM: dts: omap36xx: Remove turbo mode for 1GHz variants")
Practical reasoning:
At least the GTA04A5 (DM3730) has become unstable with that OPP enabled.
Furthermore nothing enforces the availability of said technologies,
even in the kernel configuration, so allow users to rather opt-in.

The DCDC5 voltage rail in the X-Powers AXP809 PMIC has a resolution of
50mV, so the currently enforced limits of 1.475 and 1.525 volts cannot
be set, when the existing regulator value is beyond this range.
This will lead to the whole regulator driver to give up and fail
probing, which in turn will hang the system, as essential devices depend
on the PMIC.
In this case a bug in U-Boot set the voltage to 1.75V (meant for DCDC4),
and the AXP driver's attempt to correct this lead to this error:

STM32MP15xx RM0436 Rev 6 section 46.3 System timer generator (STGEN) states
"
Arm recommends that the system counter is in an always-on power domain.
This is not supported in the current implementation, therefore STGEN should
be saved and restored before Standby mode entry, and restored at Standby
exit by secure software.
...
"
Instead of piling up workarounds in the firmware which is difficult to
update, add "arm,no-tick-in-suspend" DT property into the timer node to
indicate the timer is stopped in suspend, and let the kernel fix the
timer up.

By checking the pmic node with microchip,mcp16502.yaml#
'regulator-suspend-voltage' does not match any of the
regexes 'pinctrl-[0-9]+' from schema microchip,mcp16502.yaml#
which inherits regulator.yaml#. So replace regulator-suspend-voltage
with regulator-suspend-microvolt to avoid the inconsitency.

We identified that the PHYs actually do not work since commit 7da7b84fee
("ARM: dts: imx6dl-yapp4: Move phy reset into switch node") as
a coincidence of several circumstances.
The reset signal is kept asserted by a pull-down resistor on the board
unless it is deasserted by GPIO from the SoC. This is to keep the switch
dead until it is configured properly by the kernel and user space.
Prior to the referenced commit the switch was reset by the FEC driver
and the reset GPIO was actively deasserted. The mdio-bus was scanned
and the attached switch and its PHYs were found and configured.
With the referenced commit the switch is reset by the qca8k driver.
Because of another bug in the qca8k driver, functionality of the reset
pin depends on its pre-kernel configuration. See commit c44fc98f0a
("net: dsa: qca8k: fix illegal usage of GPIO")
The problem did not appear until we removed support for the switch
and configuration of its reset pin from the bootloader.
To fix that, properly describe the internal mdio-bus configuration of
the qca8334 switch. The PHYs are internal to the switch and sit on its
internal mdio-bus.

fine without this patch as it has full access to all the addresses

When the development chip ROM was added, the "direct-mapped" compatible
value was already obsolete. In addition, the device node lacked the
accompanying "probe-type" property, causing the old physmap_of_core
driver to fall back to trying all available probe types.
Unfortunately this fallback was lost when the DT and pdata cases were
merged.
Fix this by using the modern "mtd-rom" compatible value instead.

The qfprom actually is bigger than 0x1000, so adjust the reg.
Note that the non-ECC-corrected qfprom can be found at 0xfc4b8000
(-0x4000). The current reg points to the ECC-corrected qfprom block
which should have equivalent values at all offsets compared to the
non-corrected version.
