[ Upstream commit 7accb1c432 ]

This fixes responding with an invalid result caused by checking the
wrong size of CID which should have been (cmd_len - sizeof(*req)) and
on top of it the wrong result was use L2CAP_CR_LE_INVALID_PARAMS which
is invalid/reserved for reconf when running test like L2CAP/ECFC/BI-03-C:

64839adc92 include: uapi: netfilter_bridge.h: Cover for musl libc
[ Upstream commit 4edd4ba71c ]

Musl defines its own struct ethhdr and thus defines __UAPI_DEF_ETHHDR to
zero. To avoid struct redefinition errors, user space is therefore
supposed to include netinet/if_ether.h before (or instead of)
linux/if_ether.h. To relieve them from this burden, include the libc
header here if not building for kernel space.

f4427850c1 media: dvb-core: dmxdevfilter must always flush bufs
[ Upstream commit c4e620eccb ]

Currently the buffers are being filled until full, which works fine
for the transport stream, but not when reading sections, those have
to be returned to userspace immediately, otherwise dvbv5-scan will
just wait forever.

Add a 'flush' argument to dvb_vb2_fill_buffer to indicate whether
the buffer must be flushed or wait until it is full.

ca2aad8771 EFI/CPER: don't go past the ARM processor CPER record buffer
[ Upstream commit eae21beecb ]

There's a logic inside GHES/CPER to detect if the section_length
is too small, but it doesn't detect if it is too big.

Currently, if the firmware receives an ARM processor CPER record
stating that a section length is big, kernel will blindly trust
section_length, producing a very long dump. For instance, a 67
bytes record with ERR_INFO_NUM set 46198 and section length
set to 854918320 would dump a lot of data going a way past the
firmware memory-mapped area.

Fix it by adding a logic to prevent it to go past the buffer
if ERR_INFO_NUM is too big, making it report instead:

616c120dcd APEI/GHES: ensure that won't go past CPER allocated record
[ Upstream commit fa2408a24f ]

The logic at ghes_new() prevents allocating too large records, by
checking if they're bigger than GHES_ESTATUS_MAX_SIZE (currently, 64KB).
Yet, the allocation is done with the actual number of pages from the
CPER bios table location, which can be smaller.

Yet, a bad firmware could send data with a different size, which might
be bigger than the allocated memory, causing an OOPS:

60045b2aeb RDMA/core: add rdma_rw_max_sge() helper for SQ sizing
[ Upstream commit afcae7d7b8 ]

svc_rdma_accept() computes sc_sq_depth as the sum of rq_depth and the
number of rdma_rw contexts (ctxts). This value is used to allocate the
Send CQ and to initialize the sc_sq_avail credit pool.

However, when the device uses memory registration for RDMA operations,
rdma_rw_init_qp() inflates the QP's max_send_wr by a factor of three
per context to account for REG and INV work requests. The Send CQ and
credit pool remain sized for only one work request per context,
causing Send Queue exhaustion under heavy NFS WRITE workloads.

Introduce rdma_rw_max_sge() to compute the actual number of Send Queue
entries required for a given number of rdma_rw contexts. Upper layer
protocols call this helper before creating a Queue Pair so that their
Send CQs and credit accounting match the QP's true capacity.

Update svc_rdma_accept() to use rdma_rw_max_sge() when computing
sc_sq_depth, ensuring the credit pool reflects the work requests
that rdma_rw_init_qp() will reserve.

13eede458f netfilter: nf_conncount: increase the connection clean up limit to 64
[ Upstream commit 21d033e472 ]

After the optimization to only perform one GC per jiffy, a new problem
was introduced. If more than 8 new connections are tracked per jiffy the
list won't be cleaned up fast enough possibly reaching the limit
wrongly.

In order to prevent this issue, only skip the GC if it was already
triggered during the same jiffy and the increment is lower than the
clean up limit. In addition, increase the clean up limit to 64
connections to avoid triggering GC too often and do more effective GCs.

This has been tested using a HTTP server and several
performance tools while having nft_connlimit/xt_connlimit or OVS limit
configured.

Output of slowhttptest + OVS limit at 52000 connections:

 slow HTTP test status on 340th second:

bf1a717b84 mfd: wm8350-core: Use IRQF_ONESHOT
[ Upstream commit 553b4999cb ]

Using a threaded interrupt without a dedicated primary handler mandates
the IRQF_ONESHOT flag to mask the interrupt source while the threaded
handler is active. Otherwise the interrupt can fire again before the
threaded handler had a chance to run.

Mark explained that this should not happen with this hardware since it
is a slow irqchip which is behind an I2C/ SPI bus but the IRQ-core will
refuse to accept such a handler.

Set IRQF_ONESHOT so the interrupt source is masked until the secondary
handler is done.

36bdfa51a1 timers: Provide timer_shutdown[_sync]()
[ Upstream commit f571faf6e4 ]

Tearing down timers which have circular dependencies to other
functionality, e.g. workqueues, where the timer can schedule work and work
can arm timers, is not trivial.

In those cases it is desired to shutdown the timer in a way which prevents
rearming of the timer. The mechanism to do so is to set timer->function to
NULL and use this as an indicator for the timer arming functions to ignore
the (re)arm request.

Expose new interfaces for this: timer_shutdown_sync() and timer_shutdown().

timer_shutdown_sync() has the same functionality as timer_delete_sync()
plus the NULL-ification of the timer function.

timer_shutdown() has the same functionality as timer_delete() plus the
NULL-ification of the timer function.

In both cases the rearming of the timer is prevented by silently discarding
rearm attempts due to timer->function being NULL.

ddb1bfbf4a wifi: cfg80211: add a work abstraction with special semantics

Add a work abstraction at the cfg80211 level that will always
hold the wiphy_lock() for any work executed and therefore also

don't have to worry about locking while cancelling them safely.

Also, don't let such works run while the device is suspended,

886d98fa48 nvme-pci: do not directly handle subsys reset fallout
[ Upstream commit 210b1f6576 ]

Scheduling reset_work after a nvme subsystem reset is expected to fail
on pcie, but this also prevents potential handling the platform's pcie
services may provide that might successfully recovering the link without
re-enumeration. Such examples include AER, DPC, and power's EEH.

Provide a pci specific operation that safely initiates a subsystem
reset, and instead of scheduling reset work, read back the status
register to trigger a pcie read error.

Since this only affects pci, the other fabrics drivers subscribe to a
generic nvmf subsystem reset that is exactly the same as before. The
loop fabric doesn't use it because nvmet doesn't support setting that
property anyway.

And since we're using the magic NSSR value in two places now, provide a
symbolic define for it.

10d1b3cf65 net: Add locking to protect skb->dev access in ip_output
commit 1dbf1d590d upstream.

In ip_output() skb->dev is updated from the skb_dst(skb)->dev
this can become invalid when the interface is unregistered and freed,

Introduced new skb_dst_dev_rcu() function to be used instead of
skb_dst_dev() within rcu_locks in ip_output.This will ensure that
all the skb's associated with the dev being deregistered will
be transnmitted out first, before freeing the dev.

Given that ip_output() is called within an rcu_read_lock()
critical section or from a bottom-half context, it is safe to introduce
an RCU read-side critical section within it.

Multiple panic call stacks were observed when UL traffic was run
in concurrency with device deregistration from different functions,
pasting one sample for reference.

eaa5da5130 nfc: nci: Fix race between rfkill and nci_unregister_device().
[ Upstream commit d2492688bb ]

syzbot reported the splat below [0] without a repro.

It indicates that struct nci_dev.cmd_wq had been destroyed before
nci_close_device() was called via rfkill.

nci_dev.cmd_wq is only destroyed in nci_unregister_device(), which
(I think) was called from virtual_ncidev_close() when syzbot close()d
an fd of virtual_ncidev.

The problem is that nci_unregister_device() destroys nci_dev.cmd_wq
first and then calls nfc_unregister_device(), which removes the
device from rfkill by rfkill_unregister().

So, the device is still visible via rfkill even after nci_dev.cmd_wq
is destroyed.

Let's unregister the device from rfkill first in nci_unregister_device().

Note that we cannot call nfc_unregister_device() before
nci_close_device() because

  1) nfc_unregister_device() calls device_del() which frees
     all memory allocated by devm_kzalloc() and linked to
     ndev->conn_info_list

  2) nci_rx_work() could try to queue nci_conn_info to
     ndev->conn_info_list which could be leaked

Thus, nfc_unregister_device() is split into two functions so we
can remove rfkill interfaces only before nci_close_device().

Add the rx_oversize_pkts_buffer counter to ethtool statistics.
This counter exposes the number of dropped received packets due to
length which arrived to RQ and exceed software buffer size allocated by
the device for incoming traffic. It might imply that the device MTU is

9c46bf50b6 posix-clock: Store file pointer in struct posix_clock_context
[ Upstream commit e859d375d1 ]

File descriptor based pc_clock_*() operations of dynamic posix clocks
have access to the file pointer and implement permission checks in the
generic code before invoking the relevant dynamic clock callback.

Character device operations (open, read, poll, ioctl) do not implement a
generic permission control and the dynamic clock callbacks have no
access to the file pointer to implement them.

Extend struct posix_clock_context with a struct file pointer and
initialize it in posix_clock_open(), so that all dynamic clock callbacks
can access it.

061158d27c NFSD: Remove NFSERR_EAGAIN
[ Upstream commit c6c209ceb8 ]

I haven't found an NFSERR_EAGAIN in RFCs 1094, 1813, 7530, or 8881.
None of these RFCs have an NFS status code that match the numeric
value "11".

Based on the meaning of the EAGAIN errno, I presume the use of this
status in NFSD means NFS4ERR_DELAY. So replace the one usage of
nfserr_eagain, and remove it from NFSD's NFS status conversion
tables.

As far as I can tell, NFSERR_EAGAIN has existed since the pre-git
era, but was not actually used by any code until commit f4e44b3933
("NFSD: delay unmount source's export after inter-server copy
completed."), at which time it become possible for NFSD to return
a status code of 11 (which is not valid NFS protocol).

f51e471cb1 net: Remove RTNL dance for SIOCBRADDIF and SIOCBRDELIF.
commit ed3ba9b6e2 upstream.

SIOCBRDELIF is passed to dev_ioctl() first and later forwarded to
br_ioctl_call(), which causes unnecessary RTNL dance and the splat
below [0] under RTNL pressure.

Let's say Thread A is trying to detach a device from a bridge and
Thread B is trying to remove the bridge.

In dev_ioctl(), Thread A bumps the bridge device's refcnt by
netdev_hold() and releases RTNL because the following br_ioctl_call()
also re-acquires RTNL.

In the race window, Thread B could acquire RTNL and try to remove
the bridge device. Then, rtnl_unlock() by Thread B will release RTNL
and wait for netdev_put() by Thread A.

Thread A, however, must hold RTNL after the unlock in dev_ifsioc(),
which may take long under RTNL pressure, resulting in the splat by
Thread B.

  Thread A (SIOCBRDELIF) Thread B (SIOCBRDELBR)

                                                and log splat below

To avoid blocking SIOCBRDELBR unnecessarily, let's not call
dev_ioctl() for SIOCBRADDIF and SIOCBRDELIF.

In the dev_ioctl() path, we do the following:

  1. Copy struct ifreq by get_user_ifreq in sock_do_ioctl()
  2. Check CAP_NET_ADMIN in dev_ioctl()
  3. Call dev_load() in dev_ioctl()
  4. Fetch the master dev from ifr.ifr_name in dev_ifsioc()

3. can be done by request_module() in br_ioctl_call(), so we move
1., 2., and 4. to br_ioctl_stub().

Note that 2. is also checked later in add_del_if(), but it's better
performed before RTNL.

SIOCBRADDIF and SIOCBRDELIF have been processed in dev_ioctl() since
the pre-git era, and there seems to be no specific reason to process
them there.

325fd00621 mm/balloon_compaction: convert balloon_page_delete() to balloon_page_finalize()
[ Upstream commit 15504b1163 ]

Let's move the removal of the page from the balloon list into the single
caller, to remove the dependency on the PG_isolated flag and clarify
locking requirements.

Note that for now, balloon_page_delete() was used on two paths:

(1) Removing a page from the balloon for deflation through
    balloon_page_list_dequeue()
(2) Removing an isolated page from the balloon for migration in the
    per-driver migration handlers. Isolated pages were already removed from
    the balloon list during isolation.

So instead of relying on the flag, we can just distinguish both cases
directly and handle it accordingly in the caller.

We'll shuffle the operations a bit such that they logically make more
sense (e.g., remove from the list before clearing flags).

In balloon migration functions we can now move the balloon_page_finalize()
out of the balloon lock and perform the finalization just before dropping
the balloon reference.

Document that the page lock is currently required when modifying the
movability aspects of a page; hopefully we can soon decouple this from the
page lock.

Since commit b1123ea6d3 ("mm: balloon: use general non-lru movable page

not called directly outside this file. So make them static and clean up

50ee04e0ae mptcp: pm: ignore unknown endpoint flags
[ Upstream commit 0ace3297a7 ]

Before this patch, the kernel was saving any flags set by the userspace,
even unknown ones. This doesn't cause critical issues because the kernel
is only looking at specific ones. But on the other hand, endpoints dumps
could tell the userspace some recent flags seem to be supported on older
kernel versions.

Instead, ignore all unknown flags when parsing them. By doing that, the
userspace can continue to set unsupported flags, but it has a way to
verify what is supported by the kernel.

Note that it sounds better to continue accepting unsupported flags not
to change the behaviour, but also that eases things on the userspace
side by adding "optional" endpoint types only supported by newer kernel
versions without having to deal with the different kernel versions.

A note for the backports: there will be conflicts in mptcp.h on older
versions not having the mentioned flags, the new line should still be
added last, and the '5' needs to be adapted to have the same value as
the last entry.

eee16f3ff0 usb: gadget: udc: fix use-after-free in usb_gadget_state_work
[ Upstream commit baeb66fbd4 ]

A race condition during gadget teardown can lead to a use-after-free
in usb_gadget_state_work(), as reported by KASAN:

  BUG: KASAN: invalid-access in sysfs_notify+0x2c/0xd0
  Workqueue: events usb_gadget_state_work

The fundamental race occurs because a concurrent event (e.g., an
interrupt) can call usb_gadget_set_state() and schedule gadget->work
at any time during the cleanup process in usb_del_gadget().

Commit 399a45e523 ("usb: gadget: core: flush gadget workqueue after
device removal") attempted to fix this by moving flush_work() to after
device_del(). However, this does not fully solve the race, as a new
work item can still be scheduled *after* flush_work() completes but
before the gadget's memory is freed, leading to the same use-after-free.

This patch fixes the race condition robustly by introducing a 'teardown'
flag and a 'state_lock' spinlock to the usb_gadget struct. The flag is
set during cleanup in usb_del_gadget() *before* calling flush_work() to
prevent any new work from being scheduled once cleanup has commenced.
The scheduling site, usb_gadget_set_state(), now checks this flag under
the lock before queueing the work, thus safely closing the race window.

c5a352071f efi/cper: align ARM CPER type with UEFI 2.9A/2.10 specs
[ Upstream commit 96b010536e ]

Up to UEFI spec 2.9, the type byte of CPER struct for ARM processor
was defined simply as:

Type at byte offset 4:

	- Cache error
	- TLB Error
	- Bus Error
	- Micro-architectural Error
	All other values are reserved

Yet, there was no information about how this would be encoded.

Spec 2.9A errata corrected it by defining:

	- Bit 1 - Cache Error
	- Bit 2 - TLB Error
	- Bit 3 - Bus Error
	- Bit 4 - Micro-architectural Error
	All other values are reserved

That actually aligns with the values already defined on older
versions at N.2.4.1. Generic Processor Error Section.

Spec 2.10 also preserve the same encoding as 2.9A.

Adjust CPER and GHES handling code for both generic and ARM
processors to properly handle UEFI 2.9A and 2.10 encoding.

        unsigned int bitmask = BIT(3) | BIT(5);

	#define MASK  GENMASK(5,3)

	cper_bits_to_str(str, sizeof(str), FIELD_GET(MASK, bitmask),
			 bits, ARRAY_SIZE(bits));
