0e29430d70 crypto: arm/aes-neonbs - work around gcc-15 warning
[ Upstream commit d5fa96dc55 ]

I get a very rare -Wstringop-overread warning with gcc-15 for one function

This could happen in theory if walk.nbytes is larger than INT_MAX and gets
converted to a negative local variable.

Keep the type unsigned like the orignal nbytes to be sure there is no
integer overflow.

bf8d808f77 arm: dts: ti: omap: Fixup pinheader typo
[ Upstream commit a3a4be32b6 ]

This commit fixes a typo introduced in commit
ee368a10d0 ("ARM: dts: am335x-boneblack.dts: unique gpio-line-names").
gpio0_7 is located on the P9 header on the BBB.
This was verified with a BeagleBone Black by toggling the pin and

beddf74e40 ARM: 9448/1: Use an absolute path to unified.h in KBUILD_AFLAGS
[ Upstream commit 87c4e1459e ]

After commit d5c8d6e0fa ("kbuild: Update assembler calls to use proper
flags and language target"), which updated as-instr to use the
'assembler-with-cpp' language option, the Kbuild version of as-instr
always fails internally for arch/arm with

<command-line>: fatal error: asm/unified.h: No such file or directory
  compilation terminated.

because '-include' flags are now taken into account by the compiler
driver and as-instr does not have '$(LINUXINCLUDE)', so unified.h is not
found.

This went unnoticed at the time of the Kbuild change because the last
use of as-instr in Kbuild that arch/arm could reach was removed in 5.7
by commit 541ad0150c ("arm: Remove 32bit KVM host support") but a
stable backport of the Kbuild change to before that point exposed this
potential issue if one were to be reintroduced.

Follow the general pattern of '-include' paths throughout the tree and
make unified.h absolute using '$(srctree)' to ensure KBUILD_AFLAGS can
be used independently.

6ed79cf118 ARM: 9450/1: Fix allowing linker DCE with binutils < 2.36
commit 53e7e1fb81 upstream.

Commit e7607f7d6d ("ARM: 9443/1: Require linker to support KEEP within

that was added in commit 0d437918fb ("ARM: 9414/1: Fix build issue

fault addressed by that workaround.

Restore the binutils version dependency by using

that CONFIG_HAVE_LD_DEAD_CODE_DATA_ELIMINATION is only enabled with

1c40263443 ARM: 9447/1: arm/memremap: fix arch_memremap_can_ram_remap()
commit 96e0b35588 upstream.

arm/memremap: fix arch_memremap_can_ram_remap()

commit 260364d112 ("arm[64]/memremap: don't abuse pfn_valid() to ensure
presence of linear map") added the definition of
arch_memremap_can_ram_remap() for arm[64] specific filtering of what pages
can be used from the linear mapping. memblock_is_map_memory() was called
with the pfn of the address given to arch_memremap_can_ram_remap();
however, memblock_is_map_memory() expects to be given an address for arm,
not a pfn.

This results in calls to memremap() returning a newly mapped area when
it should return an address in the existing linear mapping.

Fix this by removing the address to pfn translation and pass the
address directly.

89800836bf ARM: at91: pm: fix at91_suspend_finish for ZQ calibration
[ Upstream commit bc4722c359 ]

For sama7g5 and sama7d65 backup mode, we encountered a "ZQ calibrate error"
during recalibrating the impedance in BootStrap.
We found that the impedance value saved in at91_suspend_finish() before
the DDR entered self-refresh mode did not match the resistor values. The
ZDATA field in the DDR3PHY_ZQ0CR0 register uses a modified gray code to
select the different impedance setting.
But these gray code are incorrect, a workaournd from design team fixed the
bug in the calibration logic. The ZDATA contains four independent impedance
elements, but the algorithm combined the four elements into one. The elements
were fixed using properly shifted offsets.

67727c5764 crypto: lib/Kconfig - Hide arch options from user
commit 17ec3e71ba upstream.

The ARCH_MAY_HAVE patch missed arm64, mips and s390. But it may
also lead to arch options being enabled but ineffective because
of modular/built-in conflicts.

As the primary user of all these options wireguard is selecting
the arch options anyway, make the same selections at the lib/crypto
option level and hide the arch options from the user.

Instead of selecting them centrally from lib/crypto, simply set
the default of each arch option as suggested by Eric Biggers.

Change the Crypto API generic algorithms to select the top-level
lib/crypto options instead of the generic one as otherwise there
is no way to enable the arch options (Eric Biggers). Introduce a
set of INTERNAL options to work around dependency cycles on the
CONFIG_CRYPTO symbol.

59fc423183 ARM: 9443/1: Require linker to support KEEP within OVERLAY for DCE
commit e7607f7d6d upstream.

ld.lld prior to 21.0.0 does not support using the KEEP keyword within an

sections within an overlay with '--gc-sections', which can be enabled

Disallow CONFIG_LD_DEAD_CODE_DATA_ELIMINATION without support for KEEP

conditionally add KEEP when it is properly supported to avoid breaking

0b1d48698e ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis: Fix poweroff on Apalis iMX6
commit 83964a2937 upstream.

The current solution for powering off the Apalis iMX6 is not functioning
as intended. To resolve this, it is necessary to power off the
vgen2_reg, which will also set the POWER_ENABLE_MOCI signal to a low
state. This ensures the carrier board is properly informed to initiate
its power-off sequence.

The new solution uses the regulator-poweroff driver, which will power
off the regulator during a system shutdown.

f08524ae59 ARM: dts: ti/omap: gta04: fix pm issues caused by spi module
commit 0cfbd7805f upstream.

Despite CM_IDLEST1_CORE and CM_FCLKEN1_CORE behaving normal,
disabling SPI leads to messages like when suspending:
Powerdomain (core_pwrdm) didn't enter target state 0
and according to /sys/kernel/debug/pm_debug/count off state is not
entered. That was not connected to SPI during the discussion
of disabling SPI. See:
https://lore.kernel.org/linux-omap/20230122100852.32ae082c@aktux/

The reason is that SPI is per default in slave mode. Linux driver
will turn it to master per default. It slave mode, the powerdomain seems to
be kept active if active chip select input is sensed.

Fix that by explicitly disabling the SPI3 pins which used to be muxed by
the bootloader since they are available on an optionally fitted header
which would require dtb overlays anyways.

8330abd5d3 ARM: dts: dra7: Add bus_dma_limit for l4 cfg bus
commit c1472ec1dc upstream.

A bus_dma_limit was added for l3 bus by commit cfb5d65f25

observed only with SATA on DRA7-EVM with 4GB RAM and CONFIG_ARM_LPAE

Since kernel 5.13, the SATA issue can be reproduced again following
the SATA node move from L3 bus to L4_cfg in commit 8af15365a3
("ARM: dts: Configure interconnect target module for dra7 sata").

Fix it by adding an empty dma-ranges property to l4_cfg and
segment@100000 nodes (parent device tree node of SATA controller) to
inherit the 2GB dma ranges limit from l3 bus node.

Note: A similar fix was applied for PCIe controller by commit

69b04ea4e2 ARM: dts: stm32: Fix IPCC EXTI declaration on stm32mp151
[ Upstream commit 4ea654242e ]

The GIC IRQ type used for IPCC RX should be IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH.
Replacing the interrupt with the EXTI event changes the type to
the numeric value 1, meaning IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_RISING.

The issue is that EXTI event 61 is a direct event. The IRQ type of
direct events is not used by EXTI and is propagated to the parent
IRQ controller of EXTI, the GIC.

Align the IRQ type to the value expected by the GIC by replacing
the second parameter "1" with IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH.

42b5491a18 ARM: dts: stm32: Increase CPU core voltage on STM32MP13xx DHCOR SoM
[ Upstream commit a4422a9183 ]

The STM32MP13xx DHCOR DHSBC is populated with STM32MP13xx part capable
of 1 GHz operation, increase the CPU core voltage to 1.35 V to make
sure the SoC is stable even if the blobs unconditionally force the CPU
to 1 GHz operation.

It is not possible to make use of CPUfreq on the STM32MP13xx because
the SCMI protocol 0x13 is not implemented by upstream OpTee-OS which
is the SCMI provider.

3aadad5271 ARM: at91: pm: change BU Power Switch to automatic mode
[ Upstream commit 6fc5bdfa87 ]

Change how the Backup Unit Power is configured and force the
automatic/hardware mode.
This change eliminates the need for software management of the power
switch, ensuring it transitions to the backup power source before
entering low power modes.

This is done in the only location where this switch was configured. It's
usually done in the bootloader.

Previously, the loss of the VDDANA (or VDDIN33) power source was not
automatically compensated by an alternative power source. This resulted
in the loss of Backup Unit content, including Backup Self-refresh low
power mode information, OTP emulation configuration, and boot
configuration, for instance.

0cfd6929fa ARM: 9431/1: mm: Pair atomic_set_release() with _read_acquire()
commit 93ee385254 upstream.

The code for syncing vmalloc memory PGD pointers is using
atomic_read() in pair with atomic_set_release() but the
proper pairing is atomic_read_acquire() paired with
atomic_set_release().

This is done to clearly instruct the compiler to not
reorder the memcpy() or similar calls inside the section
so that we do not observe changes to init_mm. memcpy()
calls should be identified by the compiler as having
unpredictable side effects, but let's try to be on the
safe side.
