df566a481e mwifiex: report wakeup for wowlan
Register the WLAN device as a wakeup source since it can
wake the system via wake-on-wireless-lan. In an actual wowlan
event, notify the PM core that we are the current wakeup source.
This allows the PM core to update the wakeup attributes in /sys.

This was causing wakeup issues on chromeos as the system was
apparently confused about the wakeup source.

e7ee74b56f wlcore: Add RX_BA_WIN_SIZE_CHANGE_EVENT event
This event is used by the Firmware to limit the RX BA win size
for a specific link.

The event handler updates the new size in the mac's sta->sta struct.

BA sessions opened for that link will use the new restricted
win_size. This limitation remains until a new update is received or
until the link is closed.

42c7372a11 wlcore: Pass win_size taken from ieee80211_sta to FW
When starting a new BA session, we must pass the win_size to the FW.

To do this we take max_rx_aggregation_subframes (BA RX win size)
which is stored in ieee80211_sta structure (e.g per link and not per HW)

We will use the value stored per link when passing the win_size to
firmware through the ACX_BA_SESSION_RX_SETUP command.

553bbc11aa x86/boot: Avoid warning for zero-filling .bss
The latest binutils are warning about a .fill directive with an explicit
value in a .bss section:

  arch/x86/kernel/head_32.S: Assembler messages:
arch/x86/kernel/head_32.S:677: Warning: ignoring fill value in section `.bss..page_aligned'
arch/x86/kernel/head_32.S:679: Warning: ignoring fill value in section `.bss..page_aligned'

This comes from the 'ENTRY()' macro padding the space between the symbols
with 'nop' via:

  .align 4,0x90

Open-coding the .globl directive without the padding avoids that warning,
as all the symbols are already page aligned.

cc7d54b050 remoteproc: adsp-pil: fix recursive dependency
The newly added driver tries to 'select' a symbol that it has an

555c16328a powerpc/mm: Correct process and partition table max size
Version 3.00 of the ISA states that the PATS (partition table size) field
of the PTCR (partition table control register) and the PRTS (process table
size) field of the partition table entry must both be less than or equal
to 24. However the actual size of the partition and process tables is equal
to 2 to the power of 12 plus the PATS and PRTS fields, respectively. This
means that the max allowable size of each of these tables is 2^36 or 64GB
for both.

Thus when checking the size shift for each we should be checking for values
of greater than 36 instead of the current check for shifts larger than 24
and 23.

8f272a5dd6 powerpc/pseries: Move CMO code from plapr_wrappers.h to platforms/pseries
Currently there's some CMO (Cooperative Memory Overcommit) code, in
plpar_wrappers.h. Some of it is #ifdef CONFIG_PSERIES and some of it
isn't. The end result being if a file includes plpar_wrappers.h it won't
build with CONFIG_PSERIES=n.

Fix it by moving the CMO code into platforms/pseries. The two hcall
wrappers can just be moved into their only caller, cmm.c, and the
accessors can go in pseries.h.

Note we need the accessors because cmm.c can be built as a module, so
there needs to be a split between the built-in code vs the module, and
that's achieved by using those accessors.

4f5359e94b s390/pci_dma: make lazy flush independent from the tlb_refresh bit
We have 2 strategies to reduce the number of RPCIT instructions:
* A HW feature indicated via the tlb_refresh bit allows us to omit RPCIT for
invalid -> valid translation-table entry updates.
* With "lazy flush" we omit RPCIT for valid -> invalid updates until we run
out of dma addresses. When we have to reuse dma addresses we issue a global
tlb flush using only one RPCIT instruction.

Currently lazy flushing depends on tlb_refresh. Since there is no technical
reason for this remove this dependency.

4a59015372 xattr: Fix setting security xattrs on sockfs
The IOP_XATTR flag is set on sockfs because sockfs supports getting the
"system.sockprotoname" xattr. Since commit 6c6ef9f2, this flag is checked for
setxattr support as well. This is wrong on sockfs because security xattr
support there is supposed to be provided by security_inode_setsecurity. The
smack security module relies on socket labels (xattrs).

Fix this by adding a security xattr handler on sockfs that returns
-EAGAIN, and by checking for -EAGAIN in setxattr.

We cannot simply check for -EOPNOTSUPP in setxattr because there are
filesystems that neither have direct security xattr support nor support
via security_inode_setsecurity. A more proper fix might be to move the
call to security_inode_setsecurity into sockfs, but it's not clear to me
if that is safe: we would end up calling security_inode_post_setxattr after
that as well.

4ebd00bc5f mlxsw: Invoke driver's init/fini methods only if defined
We are going to add a minimal driver on top of the mlxsw core
infrastructure, which will be mainly used for hardware monitoring in
Baseboard management controller (BMC) installations.

Unlike the switch drivers (e.g., spectrum, switchx2), this driver does not
initialize the ASIC and therefore doesn't need to implement the init() and
fini() methods in its 'mlxsw_driver' struct.

c711e27a18 mlxsw: Add bus capability flag
The mlxsw core infrastructure currently assumes that communication with
the ASIC is always possible using Ethernet management datagrams (EMADs),
but this is only possible when the PCI bus is used.

The bus capability flag is added to indicate EMAD support and make core
initialize EMAD communication only when it's set. Otherwise, register
access is done using command interface.

d01eb808c7 net: netcp: replace IS_ERR_OR_NULL by IS_ERR
knav_queue_open always returns an ERR_PTR value, never NULL. This can be
confirmed by unfolding the function calls and conforms to the function's
documentation. Thus, replace IS_ERR_OR_NULL by IS_ERR in error checks.

The change is made using the following semantic patch:

// <smpl>

statement S;

x = knav_queue_open(...);
if (

e47112d9d6 net: dsa: b53: Fix VLAN usage and how we treat CPU port
We currently have a fundamental problem in how we treat the CPU port and
its VLAN membership. As soon as a second VLAN is configured to be
untagged, the CPU automatically becomes untagged for that VLAN as well,
and yet, we don't gracefully make sure that the CPU becomes tagged in
the other VLANs it could be a member of. This results in only one VLAN
being effectively usable from the CPU's perspective.

Instead of having some pretty complex logic which tries to maintain the
CPU port's default VLAN and its untagged properties, just do something
very simple which consists in neither altering the CPU port's PVID
settings, nor its untagged settings:

- whenever a VLAN is added, the CPU is automatically a member of this
VLAN group, as a tagged member
- PVID settings for downstream ports do not alter the CPU port's PVID
since it now is part of all VLANs in the system

This means that a typical example where e.g: LAN ports are in VLAN1, and
WAN port is in VLAN2, now require having two VLAN interfaces for the
host to properly terminate and send traffic from/to.

7fda702f93 sctp: use new rhlist interface on sctp transport rhashtable
Now sctp transport rhashtable uses hash(lport, dport, daddr) as the key
to hash a node to one chain. If in one host thousands of assocs connect
to one server with the same lport and different laddrs (although it's
not a normal case), all the transports would be hashed into the same
chain.

It may cause to keep returning -EBUSY when inserting a new node, as the
chain is too long and sctp inserts a transport node in a loop, which
could even lead to system hangs there.

The new rhlist interface works for this case that there are many nodes
with the same key in one chain. It puts them into a list then makes this
list be as a node of the chain.

This patch is to replace rhashtable_ interface with rhltable_ interface.
Since a chain would not be too long and it would not return -EBUSY with
this fix when inserting a node, the reinsert loop is also removed here.
