The commit 51ab5d77dc ("ALSA: usb-audio: Properly match with audio
interface class") converted the quirk entries that have both vid/pid
pair and bInterface fields to match with all those with a new macro
USB_AUDIO_CLASS(). However, it turned out that those are false
conversions; all those (but the unknown KeithMcMillen device) are
actually with vendor-specific interface class, hence the conversions
broke the matching.
This patch corrects those entries to the right one,
USB_DEVICE_VENDOR_SPEC() (and USB_DEVICE() for KeithMcMillen to be
sure), and drop the unused USB_AUDIO_CLASS macro again.

We must re-enable the RTC module clock enabled in RTC+DDR suspend, and
pm33xx has been using platform data callbacks for that. Looks like for
retention suspend the RTC module clock must not be re-enabled.
To remove the legacy platform data callbacks, and eventually be able to
drop the RTC legacy platform data, let's manage the RTC module clock
and register range directly in pm33xx.

binfmt_flat loader uses the gap between text and data to store data
segment pointers for the libraries. Even in the absence of shared
libraries it stores at least one pointer to the executable's own data
segment. Text and data can go back to back in the flat binary image and
without offsetting data segment last few instructions in the text
segment may get corrupted by the data segment pointer.
Fix it by reverting commit a2357223c5 ("binfmt_flat: don't offset the

on MSR_TSX_AUX. KVM has an optmization to avoid expensive MRS read/writes
on VMENTER/EXIT. It caches the MSR values and restores them either when
leaving the run loop, on preemption or when going out to user

will read the guest value and use it as CPU number to retrieve the GSBASE

If an application is doing reads on signalfd, and we arm the poll handler
because there's no data available, then the wakeup can recurse on the
tasks sighand->siglock as the signal delivery from task_work_add() will
use TWA_SIGNAL and that attempts to lock it again.
We can detect the signalfd case pretty easily by comparing the poll->head
wait_queue_head_t with the target task signalfd wait queue. Just use
normal task wakeup for this case.

There were some problem in ipq8074 Gen2 PCIe phy init sequence.
1. Few register values were wrongly updated in the phy init sequence.
2. The register QSERDES_RX_SIGDET_CNTRL is a RX tuning parameter
register which is added in serdes table causing the wrong register
was getting updated.
3. Clocks and resets were not added in the phy init.
Fix these to make Gen2 PCIe port on ipq8074 devices to work.

Some device drivers call libusb_clear_halt when target ep queue
is not empty. (eg. spice client connected to qemu for usb redir)
Before commit f5249461b5 ("xhci: Clear the host side toggle
manually when endpoint is soft reset"), that works well.
But now, we got the error log:
EP not empty, refuse reset
xhci_endpoint_reset failed and left ep_state's EP_SOFT_CLEAR_TOGGLE
bit still set
So all the subsequent urb sumbits to the ep will fail with the
warn log:
Can't enqueue URB while manually clearing toggle
We need to clear ep_state EP_SOFT_CLEAR_TOGGLE bit after
xhci_endpoint_reset, even if it failed.

printk wants to store various timestamps (MONOTONIC, REALTIME, BOOTTIME) to
make correlation of dmesg from several systems easier.
Provide an interface to retrieve all three timestamps in one go.
There are some caveats:
1) Boot time and late sleep time injection
Boot time is a racy access on 32bit systems if the sleep time injection
happens late during resume and not in timekeeping_resume(). That could be
avoided by expanding struct tk_read_base with boot offset for 32bit and
adding more overhead to the update. As this is a hard to observe once per
resume event which can be filtered with reasonable effort using the
accurate mono/real timestamps, it's probably not worth the trouble.
Aside of that it might be possible on 32 and 64 bit to observe the
following when the sleep time injection happens late:
CPU 0 CPU 1
timekeeping_resume()
ktime_get_fast_timestamps()
mono, real = __ktime_get_real_fast()
inject_sleep_time()
update boot offset
boot = mono + bootoffset;
That means that boot time already has the sleep time adjustment, but
real time does not. On the next readout both are in sync again.
Preventing this for 64bit is not really feasible without destroying the
careful cache layout of the timekeeper because the sequence count and
struct tk_read_base would then need two cache lines instead of one.
2) Suspend/resume timestamps
Access to the time keeper clock source is disabled accross the innermost
steps of suspend/resume. The accessors still work, but the timestamps
are frozen until time keeping is resumed which happens very early.
For regular suspend/resume there is no observable difference vs. sched
clock, but it might affect some of the nasty low level debug printks.
OTOH, access to sched clock is not guaranteed accross suspend/resume on
all systems either so it depends on the hardware in use.
If that turns out to be a real problem then this could be mitigated by
using sched clock in a similar way as during early boot. But it's not as
trivial as on early boot because it needs some careful protection
against the clock monotonic timestamp jumping backwards on resume.

During early boot the NMI safe timekeeper returns 0 until the first
clocksource becomes available.
This prevents it from being used for printk or other facilities which today
use sched clock. sched clock can be available way before timekeeping is
initialized.
The obvious workaround for this is to utilize the early sched clock in the
default dummy clock read function until a clocksource becomes available.
After switching to the clocksource clock MONOTONIC and BOOTTIME will not
jump because the timekeeping_init() bases clock MONOTONIC on sched clock
and the offset between clock MONOTONIC and BOOTTIME is zero during boot.
Clock REALTIME cannot provide useful timestamps during early boot up to
the point where a persistent clock becomes available, which is either in
timekeeping_init() or later when the RTC driver which might depend on I2C
or other subsystems is initialized.
There is a minor difference to sched_clock() vs. suspend/resume. As the
timekeeper clock source might not be accessible during suspend, after
timekeeping_suspend() timestamps freeze up to the point where
timekeeping_resume() is invoked. OTOH this is true for some sched clock
implementations as well.

Tascam FE-8 is known to support communication by asynchronous transaction
only. The support can be implemented in userspace application and
snd-firewire-ctl-services project has the support. However, ALSA
firewire-tascam driver is bound to the model.
This commit changes device entries so that the model is excluded. In a
commit 53b3ffee78 ("ALSA: firewire-tascam: change device probing
processing"), I addressed to the concern that version field in
configuration differs depending on installed firmware. However, as long
as I checked, the version number is fixed. It's safe to return version
number back to modalias.
