24bc69da32 PCI: Clean up MSI/MSI-X capability #defines
This doesn't change any existing symbols, but it puts them in logical
order and uses explicit masks instead of shifts, like the rest of the
file.

It also adds new symbols for PCI_MSIX_TABLE_BIR,
PCI_MSIX_TABLE_OFFSET, PCI_MSIX_PBA_BIR, and PCI_MSIX_PBA_OFFSET to
replace the mis-named PCI_MSIX_FLAGS_BIRMASK (the BAR index fields
are part of the Table and PBA registers, not the flags register).

e375b56181 PCI: Cache MSI/MSI-X capability offsets in struct pci_dev
The patch caches the MSI and MSI-X capability offset in PCI device
(struct pci_dev) so that we needn't read it from the config space
upon enabling or disabling MSI or MSI-X interrupts.

703860ed4e PCI: Use u8, not int, for PM capability offset
The Power Management Capability (PCI_CAP_ID_PM == 0x01) is defined by PCI
and must appear in the 256-byte PCI Configuration Space from 0-0xff. It
cannot be in the PCIe Extended Configuration space from 0x100-0xfff, so
we only need a u8 to hold its offset.

4c637b2175 cpuidle: make a single register function for all
The usual scheme to initialize a cpuidle driver on a SMP is:

	cpuidle_register_driver(drv);
	for_each_possible_cpu(cpu) {
		device = &per_cpu(cpuidle_dev, cpu);
		cpuidle_register_device(device);
	}

This code is duplicated in each cpuidle driver.

On UP systems, it is done this way:

	cpuidle_register_driver(drv);
	device = &per_cpu(cpuidle_dev, cpu);
	cpuidle_register_device(device);

On UP, the macro 'for_each_cpu' does one iteration:

#define for_each_cpu(cpu, mask)                 \
        for ((cpu) = 0; (cpu) < 1; (cpu)++, (void)mask)

Hence, the initialization loop is the same for UP than SMP.

Beside, we saw different bugs / mis-initialization / return code unchecked in
the different drivers, the code is duplicated including bugs. After fixing all
these ones, it appears the initialization pattern is the same for everyone.

Please note, some drivers are doing dev->state_count = drv->state_count. This is
not necessary because it is done by the cpuidle_enable_device function in the
cpuidle framework. This is true, until you have the same states for all your
devices. Otherwise, the 'low level' API should be used instead with the specific
initialization for the driver.

Let's add a wrapper function doing this initialization with a cpumask parameter
for the coupled idle states and use it for all the drivers.

That will save a lot of LOC, consolidate the code, and the modifications in the
future could be done in a single place. Another benefit is the consolidation of
the cpuidle_device variable which is now in the cpuidle framework and no longer
spread accross the different arch specific drivers.

	net/batman-adv/routing.c
	net/ipv4/tcp_input.c

The e{uid,gid} --> {uid,gid} credentials fix conflicted with the
cleanup in net-next to now pass cred structs around.

The be2net driver had a bug fix in 'net' that overlapped with the VLAN
interface changes by Patrick McHardy in net-next.

An IGB conflict existed because in 'net' the build_skb() support was
reverted, and in 'net-next' there was a comment style fix within that
code.

Several batman-adv conflicts were resolved by making sure that all
calls to batadv_is_my_mac() are changed to have a new bat_priv first
argument.

Eric Dumazet's TS ECR fix in TCP in 'net' conflicted with the F-RTO
rewrite in 'net-next', mostly overlapping changes.

of these merge resolutions.

2810e5b9a7 xen-netback: coalesce slots in TX path and fix regressions
This patch tries to coalesce tx requests when constructing grant copy
structures. It enables netback to deal with situation when frontend's
MAX_SKB_FRAGS is larger than backend's MAX_SKB_FRAGS.

With the help of coalescing, this patch tries to address two regressions
avoid reopening the security hole in XSA-39.

Regression 1. The reduction of the number of supported ring entries (slots)
per packet (from 18 to 17). This regression has been around for some time but
remains unnoticed until XSA-39 security fix. This is fixed by coalescing
slots.

Regression 2. The XSA-39 security fix turning "too many frags" errors from
just dropping the packet to a fatal error and disabling the VIF. This is fixed
by coalescing slots (handling 18 slots when backend's MAX_SKB_FRAGS is 17)
which rules out false positive (using 18 slots is legit) and dropping packets
using 19 to `max_skb_slots` slots.

To avoid reopening security hole in XSA-39, frontend sending packet using more
than max_skb_slots is considered malicious.

The behavior of netback for packet is thus:

    1-18            slots: valid
   19-max_skb_slots slots: drop and respond with an error
   max_skb_slots+   slots: fatal error

max_skb_slots is configurable by admin, default value is 20.

Also change variable name from "frags" to "slots" in netbk_count_requests.

Please note that RX path still has dependency on MAX_SKB_FRAGS. This will be
fixed with separate patch.

197bbf0aed This is the 2nd NFC pull request for 3.10.
With this one we have:

 - A major pn533 update. The pn533 framing support has been changed in order to
   easily support all pn533 derivatives. For example we now support the ACR122
   USB dongle.

 - An NFC MEI physical layer code factorization through the mei_phy NFC API.
   Both the microread and the pn544 drivers now use it.

 - LLCP aggregation support. This allows NFC p2p devices to send aggregated
   frames containing all sort of LLCP frames except SYMM and aggregation
   frames.

 - More LLCP socket options for getting the remote device link parameters.

 - Fixes for the LLCP socket option code added with the first pull request for
   3.10.

 - Some support for LLCP corner cases like 0 length SDUs and general DISC
   (tagged with a 0,0 dsap ssap couple) handling.

 - RFKILL support for NFC.

0d528d85c5 mac80211: improve the rate control API
Allow rate control modules to pass a rate selection table to mac80211
and the driver. This allows drivers to fetch the most recent rate
selection from the sta pointer for already buffered frames. This allows
rate control to respond faster to sudden link changes and it is also a
step towards adding minstrel_ht support to drivers like iwlwifi.

When a driver sets IEEE80211_HW_SUPPORTS_RC_TABLE, mac80211 will not
fill info->control.rates with rates from the rate table (to preserve
explicit overrides by the rate control module). The driver then
explicitly calls ieee80211_get_tx_rates to merge overrides from
info->control.rates with defaults from the sta rate table.

that can benefit from this are DHCP, EAPOL, APIPA. Exactly how the
link can/should be made more reliable is up to the driver. Things
to consider are avoid scanning, no multi-channel operations, and
alter coexistence schemes.

908f8d07e9 mac80211: indicate admission control in TX queue parameters
Some driver implementations need to know whether mandatory
admission control is required by the AP for some ACs. Add
a parameter to the TX queue parameters indicating this.

As there's currently no support for admission control in

Pull kdump fixes from Peter Anvin:
 "The kexec/kdump people have found several problems with the support
  for loading over 4 GiB that was introduced in this merge cycle. This
  is partly due to a number of design problems inherent in the way the
  various pieces of kdump fit together (it is pretty horrifically manual
  in many places.)

  After a *lot* of iterations this is the patchset that was agreed upon,
  but of course it is now very late in the cycle. However, because it
  changes both the syntax and semantics of the crashkernel option, it
  would be desirable to avoid a stable release with the broken
  interfaces."

I'm not happy with the timing, since originally the plan was to release
the final 3.9 tomorrow. But apparently I'm doing an -rc8 instead...

f11899894c clocksource: add samsung pwm timer driver
This adds a new clocksource driver for the PWM timer that is
present in most Samsung SoCs, based on the existing driver in
arch/arm/plat-samsung/samsung-time.c and many changes implemented by
Tomasz Figa.

Originally, the conversion of all Samsung machines to the new driver was
planned for 3.10, but that work ended up being too late and too invasive
just before the merge window.

Unfortunately, other changes in the Exynos platform resulted in some
Exynos4 setups, particularly the Universal C210 board to be broken. In
order to fix that with minimum risk, so we now leave the existing pwm
clocksource driver in place for all older platforms and use the new
driver only for device tree enabled boards. This way, we can get the
broken machines running again using DT descriptions.

All clocksource changes were implemented by Tomasz, while the DT
registration was rewritten by Arnd.

83f1b4ba91 net: fix incorrect credentials passing
Commit 257b5358b3 ("scm: Capture the full credentials of the scm
sender") changed the credentials passing code to pass in the effective
uid/gid instead of the real uid/gid.

Obviously this doesn't matter most of the time (since normally they are
the same), but it results in differences for suid binaries when the wrong
uid/gid ends up being used.

This just undoes that (presumably unintentional) part of the commit.
