b9ed800f71 arm64: kaslr: Fix up the kernel image alignment
commit afd0e5a876 upstream.

If kernel image extends across alignment boundary, existing
code increases the KASLR offset by size of kernel image. The
offset is masked after resizing. There are cases, where after
masking, we may still have kernel image extending across
boundary. This eventually results in only 2MB block getting
mapped while creating the page tables. This results in data aborts
while accessing unmapped regions during second relocation (with
kaslr offset) in __primary_switch. To fix this problem, round up the
kernel image size, by swapper block size, before adding it for
correction.

For example consider below case, where kernel image still crosses
1GB alignment boundary, after masking the offset, which is fixed
by rounding up kernel image size.

SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 30
Swapper using section maps with section size 2MB.
CONFIG_PGTABLE_LEVELS = 3
VA_BITS = 39

_text : 0xffffff8008080000
_end : 0xffffff800aa1b000
offset : 0x1f35600000
mask = ((1UL << (VA_BITS - 2)) - 1) & ~(SZ_2M - 1)

(_text + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7c
(_end + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7d

offset after existing correction (before mask) = 0x1f37f9b000
(_text + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7d
(_end + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7d

offset (after mask) = 0x1f37e00000
(_text + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7c
(_end + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7d

new offset w/ rounding up = 0x1f38000000
(_text + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7d
(_end + offset) >> SWAPPER_TABLE_SHIFT = 0x3fffffe7d

095635be80 irqchip/gicv3-its: Add workaround for QDF2400 ITS erratum 0065
commit 90922a2d03 upstream.

On Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies QDF2400 SoCs, the ITS hardware
implementation uses 16Bytes for Interrupt Translation Entry (ITE),
but reports an incorrect value of 8Bytes in GITS_TYPER.ITTE_size.

It might cause kernel memory corruption depending on the number
of MSI(x) that are configured and the amount of memory that has
been allocated for ITEs in its_create_device().

This patch fixes the potential memory corruption by setting the
correct ITE size to 16Bytes.

61e79860b4 arm64: KVM: VHE: Clear HCR_TGE when invalidating guest TLBs
commit 6892517629 upstream.

When invalidating guest TLBs, special care must be taken to
actually shoot the guest TLBs and not the host ones if we're
running on a VHE system. This is controlled by the HCR_EL2.TGE
bit, which we forget to clear before invalidating TLBs.

Address the issue by introducing two wrappers (__tlb_switch_to_guest
and __tlb_switch_to_host) that take care of both the VTTBR_EL2
and HCR_EL2.TGE switching.

7127d43e18 arm64: fix erroneous __raw_read_system_reg() cases
commit 7d0928f18b upstream.

Since it was introduced in commit da8d02d19f ("arm64/capabilities:
Make use of system wide safe value"), __raw_read_system_reg() has
erroneously mapped some sysreg IDs to other registers.

For the fields in ID_ISAR5_EL1, our local feature detection will be
erroneous. We may spuriously detect that a feature is uniformly
supported, or may fail to detect when it actually is, meaning some
compat hwcaps may be erroneous (or not enforced upon hotplug).

This patch corrects the erroneous entries.

a8123045c9 arm64: dma-mapping: Fix dma_mapping_error() when bypassing SWIOTLB
commit adbe7e26f4 upstream.

When bypassing SWIOTLB on small-memory systems, we need to avoid calling
into swiotlb_dma_mapping_error() in exactly the same way as we avoid
swiotlb_dma_supported(), because the former also relies on SWIOTLB state
being initialised.

Under the assumptions for which we skip SWIOTLB, dma_map_{single,page}()
will only ever return the DMA-offset-adjusted physical address of the
page passed in, thus we can report success unconditionally.

ac4c8fcf5e arm/arm64: KVM: Enforce unconditional flush to PoC when mapping to stage-2
commit 8f36ebaf21 upstream.

When we fault in a page, we flush it to the PoC (Point of Coherency)
if the faulting vcpu has its own caches off, so that it can observe
the page we just brought it.

But if the vcpu has its caches on, we skip that step. Bad things
happen when *another* vcpu tries to access that page with its own
caches disabled. At that point, there is no garantee that the
data has made it to the PoC, and we access stale data.

The obvious fix is to always flush to PoC when a page is faulted
in, no matter what the state of the vcpu is.

776c2b2d16 arm64: Fix swiotlb fallback allocation
commit 524dabe1c6 upstream.

Commit b67a8b29df introduced logic to skip swiotlb allocation when all memory
is DMA accessible anyway.

While this is a great idea, __dma_alloc still calls swiotlb code unconditionally
to allocate memory when there is no CMA memory available. The swiotlb code is
called to ensure that we at least try get_free_pages().

Without initialization, swiotlb allocation code tries to access io_tlb_list
which is NULL. That results in a stack trace like this:

de327948c0 arm64: avoid returning from bad_mode
commit 7d9e8f71b9 upstream.

Generally, taking an unexpected exception should be a fatal event, and
bad_mode is intended to cater for this. However, it should be possible
to contain unexpected synchronous exceptions from EL0 without bringing
the kernel down, by sending a SIGILL to the task.

We tried to apply this approach in commit 9955ac47f4 ("arm64:
don't kill the kernel on a bad esr from el0"), by sending a signal for
any bad_mode call resulting from an EL0 exception.

However, this also applies to other unexpected exceptions, such as
SError and FIQ. The entry paths for these exceptions branch to bad_mode
without configuring the link register, and have no kernel_exit. Thus, if
we take one of these exceptions from EL0, bad_mode will eventually
return to the original user link register value.

This patch fixes this by introducing a new bad_el0_sync handler to cater
for the recoverable case, and restoring bad_mode to its original state,
whereby it calls panic() and never returns. The recoverable case
branches to bad_el0_sync with a bl, and returns to userspace via the
usual ret_to_user mechanism.

2021e55d71 arm64: hugetlb: remove the wrong pmd check in find_num_contig()
commit 20156ce236 upstream.

The find_num_contig() will return 1 when the pmd is not present.
It will cause a kernel dead loop in the following scenaro:

1.) pmd entry is not present.

   2.) the page fault occurs:
       ... hugetlb_fault() --> hugetlb_no_page() --> set_huge_pte_at()

3.) set_huge_pte_at() will only set the first PMD entry, since the
find_num_contig just return 1 in this case. So the PMD entries
are all empty except the first one.

4.) when kernel accesses the address mapped by the second PMD entry,
       a new page fault occurs:
       ... hugetlb_fault() --> huge_ptep_set_access_flags()

The second PMD entry is still empty now.

5.) When the kernel returns, the access will cause a page fault again.
The kernel will run like the "4)" above.
We will see a dead loop since here.

The dead loop is caught in the 32M hugetlb page (2M PMD + Contiguous bit).

This patch removes wrong pmd check, and fixes this dead loop.

This patch also removes the redundant checks for PGD/PUD in
the find_num_contig().

39b7e1c2fd crypto: arm64/aes-neon - fix for big endian
commit a2c435cc99 upstream.

The AES implementation using pure NEON instructions relies on the generic
AES key schedule generation routines, which store the round keys as arrays
of 32-bit quantities stored in memory using native endianness. This means
we should refer to these round keys using 4x4 loads rather than 16x1 loads.
In addition, the ShiftRows tables are loading using a single scalar load,
which is also affected by endianness, so emit these tables in the correct
order depending on whether we are building for big endian or not.

d018dc9540 crypto: arm64/aes-ccm-ce: fix for big endian
commit 56e4e76c68 upstream.

The AES-CCM implementation that uses ARMv8 Crypto Extensions instructions
refers to the AES round keys as pairs of 64-bit quantities, which causes
failures when building the code for big endian. In addition, it byte swaps
the input counter unconditionally, while this is only required for little
endian builds. So fix both issues.

The GHASH key and digest are both pairs of 64-bit quantities, but the

The SHA256 digest is an array of 8 32-bit quantities, so we should refer

959e95305f arm64: KVM: pmu: Reset PMSELR_EL0.SEL to a sane value before entering the guest
commit 21cbe3cc8a upstream.

The ARMv8 architecture allows the cycle counter to be configured
by setting PMSELR_EL0.SEL==0x1f and then accessing PMXEVTYPER_EL0,
hence accessing PMCCFILTR_EL0. But it disallows the use of
PMSELR_EL0.SEL==0x1f to access the cycle counter itself through
PMXEVCNTR_EL0.

Linux itself doesn't violate this rule, but we may end up with
PMSELR_EL0.SEL being set to 0x1f when we enter a guest. If that
guest accesses PMXEVCNTR_EL0, the access may UNDEF at EL1,
despite the guest not having done anything wrong.

In order to avoid this unfortunate course of events (haha!), let's
sanitize PMSELR_EL0 on guest entry. This ensures that the guest
won't explode unexpectedly.

b112c84a6f KVM: arm64: Fix the issues when guest PMCCFILTR is configured
KVM calls kvm_pmu_set_counter_event_type() when PMCCFILTR is configured.
But this function can't deals with PMCCFILTR correctly because the evtCount
bits of PMCCFILTR, which is reserved 0, conflits with the SW_INCR event
type of other PMXEVTYPER<n> registers. To fix it, when eventsel == 0, this
function shouldn't return immediately; instead it needs to check further
if select_idx is ARMV8_PMU_CYCLE_IDX.

Another issue is that KVM shouldn't copy the eventsel bits of PMCCFILTER
blindly to attr.config. Instead it ought to convert the request to the
"cpu cycle" event type (i.e. 0x11).

To support this patch and to prevent duplicated definitions, a limited
set of ARMv8 perf event types were relocated from perf_event.c to
asm/perf_event.h.

spi-orion driver offers dedicated DT property ('cell-index'), that
allow setting unique identifiers. Recently added support for CP110-slave

tree, which is fixed in this commit to a proper value.

272d01bd79 arm64: Fix circular include of asm/lse.h through linux/jump_label.h
Commit efd9e03fac ("arm64: Use static keys for CPU features")
introduced support for static keys in asm/cpufeature.h, including
linux/jump_label.h. When CC_HAVE_ASM_GOTO is not defined, this causes a
circular dependency via linux/atomic.h, asm/lse.h and asm/cpufeature.h.

This patch moves the capability macros out out of asm/cpufeature.h into
a separate asm/cpucaps.h and modifies some of the #includes accordingly.

94d0e5980d arm/arm64: KVM: Perform local TLB invalidation when multiplexing vcpus on a single CPU
Architecturally, TLBs are private to the (physical) CPU they're
associated with. But when multiple vcpus from the same VM are
being multiplexed on the same CPU, the TLBs are not private
to the vcpus (and are actually shared across the VMID).

Let's consider the following scenario:

- vcpu-0 maps PA to VA
- vcpu-1 maps PA' to VA

If run on the same physical CPU, vcpu-1 can hit TLB entries generated
by vcpu-0 accesses, and access the wrong physical page.

The solution to this is to keep a per-VM map of which vcpu ran last
on each given physical CPU, and invalidate local TLBs when switching
to a different vcpu from the same VM.

2674235fd4 ARM: SoC fixes
We haven't seen a whole lot of fixes for the first two weeks since the merge
window, but here is the batch that we have at the moment.

Nothing sticks out as particularly bad or scary, it's mostly a handful of
smaller fixes to several platforms. The Uniphier reset controller changes
could probably have been delayed to 4.10, but they're not scary and just
plumbing up driver changes that went in during the merge window.

We're also adding another maintainer to Marvell Berlin platforms, to help
out when Sebastian is too busy. Yay teamwork!
