There is no point in taking the controller irq_lock and calling nvmet_pci_epf_should_raise_irq() for a completion queue which does not have IRQ enabled (NVMET_PCI_EPF_Q_IRQ_ENABLED flag is not set). Move the test for the NVMET_PCI_EPF_Q_IRQ_ENABLED flag out of nvmet_pci_epf_should_raise_irq() to the top of nvmet_pci_epf_raise_irq() to return early when no IRQ should be raised. Also, use dev_err_ratelimited() to avoid a message storm under load when raising IRQs is failing. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
