Currently arm_smmu_install_ste_for_dev() iterates over every SID and computes from scratch an identical STE. Every SID should have the same STE contents. Turn this inside out so that the STE is supplied by the caller and arm_smmu_install_ste_for_dev() simply installs it to every SID. This is possible now that the STE generation does not inform what sequence should be used to program it. This allows splitting the STE calculation up according to the call site, which following patches will make use of, and removes the confusing NULL domain special case that only supported arm_smmu_detach_dev(). Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
