Jason Wang says: ==================== Fix various issue of vhost This series tries to fix various issues of vhost: - Patch 1 adds a missing write barrier between used idx updating and logging. - Patch 2-3 brings back the protection of device IOTLB through vq mutex, this fixes possible use after free in device IOTLB entries. Please consider them for -stable. Changes from V2: - drop dirty page fix and make it for net-next Changes from V1: - silent compiler warning for 32bit. - use mutex_trylock() on slowpath instead of mutex_lock() even on fast path. ==================== Signed-off-by: David S. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
