I noticed this AI pattern, even after using this skill, and fixed it with this additional Style Pattern:

P19 - Hyphenated Word Concatenation Overuse
Pattern: Consistent hyphenation of common word pairs: "third-party," "cross-functional," "client-facing," "data-driven"
Problem: AI hyphenates commonly open-compound word pairs with perfect consistency. Humans rarely hyphenate common word pairs, and when they do, it's inconsistent. Uniform treatment signals AI authorship. Less common word pairings are ok to hyphenate.

The skill has to be renumbered and some of the instructions needs adjusted too.

I've submitted a fix for this in PR #56. Added your suggested pattern as #25 (Hyphenated Word Pair Overuse) with before/after examples.
