cf4f7fc3e7 ASoC: fsl-ssi: Support for SND_SOC_DAIFMT_CBM_CFS
Add SND_SOC_DAIFMT_CBM_CFS support for Freescale architecture.
Successfully tested on i.MX 6Quad Wandboard and UDOO boards connected to
the pcm1792a codec.
In CBM_CFS mode, when using a sample size of 16 bits, we cannot use
CCSR_SSI_SCR_I2S_MODE_MASTER since we get a frame sync every 16 bits.

bc4fba7712 vfio-pci: Attempt bus/slot reset on release
Each time a device is released, mark whether a local reset was
successful or whether a bus/slot reset is needed. If a reset is
needed and all of the affected devices are bound to vfio-pci and
unused, allow the reset. This is most useful when the userspace
driver is killed and releases all the devices in an unclean state,
such as when a QEMU VM quits.

61d792562b vfio-pci: Use mutex around open, release, and remove
Serializing open/release allows us to fix a refcnt error if we fail
to enable the device and lets us prevent devices from being unbound
or opened, giving us an opportunity to do bus resets on release. No
restriction added to serialize binding devices to vfio-pci while the
mutex is held though.

9c22e660ce vfio-pci: Release devices with BusMaster disabled
Our current open/release path looks like this:

vfio_pci_open
  vfio_pci_enable
    pci_enable_device
    pci_save_state
    pci_store_saved_state

vfio_pci_release
  vfio_pci_disable
    pci_disable_device
    pci_restore_state

pci_enable_device() doesn't modify PCI_COMMAND_MASTER, so if a device
comes to us with it enabled, it persists through the open and gets
stored as part of the device saved state. We then restore that saved
state when released, which can allow the device to attempt to continue
to do DMA. When the group is disconnected from the domain, this will
get caught by the IOMMU, but if there are other devices in the group,
the device may continue running and interfere with the user. Even in
the former case, IOMMUs don't necessarily behave well and a stream of
blocked DMA can result in unpleasant behavior on the host.

Explicitly disable Bus Master as we're enabling the device and
slightly re-work release to make sure that pci_disable_device() is
the last thing that touches the device.

145b0a5d18 iio: adc: exynos_adc: Add support for s3c24xx ADC
This patch add support for s3c2410/s3c2416/s3c2440/s3c2443 ADC. The s3c24xx

The biggest bit is Michael removing all of pre-POWER4 processor

bc1ecc65a2 rbd: rework rbd_request_fn()
While it was never a good idea to sleep in request_fn(), commit
34c6bc2c91 ("locking/mutexes: Add extra reschedule point") made it
a *bad* idea. mutex_lock() since 3.15 may reschedule *before* putting
task on the mutex wait queue, which for tasks in !TASK_RUNNING state
means block forever. request_fn() may be called with !TASK_RUNNING on
the way to schedule() in io_schedule().

Offload request handling to a workqueue, one per rbd device, to avoid
calling blocking primitives from rbd_request_fn().

124e1b1d09 iio: accel: kxcjk-1013: support runtime pm
In an effort to improve raw read performance and at the same time enter
low power state at every possible chance.
For raw reads, it will keep the system powered on for a default or user
specified time, via autosuspend_delay attribute of device power.
This will help read multiple samples without power on/off sequence.
For triggers it will keep the system on till, requested to be turned
off by trigger state by utilizing run time PM usage counters.

When runtime pm is not enabled, then it keeps the chip in operation
mode always.

69bbeb4ae7 drm/i915: Fix threshold for choosing 32 vs. 64 precisions for VLV DDL values
The DDL registers can hold 7bit numbers. Make the most of those seven
bits by adjusting the threshold where we switch between the 64 vs. 32
precision multipliers.

Also we compute 'entries' to make the decision about precision, and then
we recompute the same value to calculate the actual drain latency. Just
use the already calculate 'entries' there.

843db716a9 drm/i915: Collect gtier properly on HSW.
GTIER and DEIER doesn't have same interface on HSW so this "or" operation
makes the information provided useless.

v2: since we have gtier variable already let's split for everybody
and avoid the strange | op.
Also avoid overriding the value that was set for vlv. In this case I
believe that we should reorganize the whole function, but I'll respect
the comment that ask to not touch the order and let this organization

Users often can't do anything about this since their vendors stopped
providing BIOS updates. Also we seem to be able to hack around it

level where only developers can see it.
