ALSA supports arbitrary length TLVs for each kcontrol that can be used
to pass metadata about the control (e.g. volumes, enum information). The
same transport mechanism is now used for arbitrary length data by
defining a new helper.

As typically a shmobile SoC has less DMA channels than devices that can use
DMA, we may want to prioritize access to the DMA channels in the future.
This means that dmaengine_prep_slave_single() may start failing
arbitrarily.
Handle dmaengine_prep_slave_single() failures gracefully by falling back to

SCTP updates
This set improves the SCTP socket API to be more in line with RFC6458,
Geir and myself have finalized it eventually. While at it, the first
patch also fixes two possible information leaks that should go to net
tree as well (therefore the change is already here in net-next via a
merge of the 'net' tree -DaveM). For more details, I refer you to the
patches themselves.
Thanks a lot.

With support of SCTP_SNDINFO/SCTP_RCVINFO as described in RFC6458,
5.3.4/5.3.5, we can now deprecate SCTP_SNDRCV. The RFC already
declares it as deprecated:
This structure mixes the send and receive path. SCTP_SNDINFO
(described in Section 5.3.4) and SCTP_RCVINFO (described in
Section 5.3.5) split this information. These structures should
be used, when possible, since SCTP_SNDRCV is deprecated.
So whenever a user tries to subscribe to sctp_data_io_event via
setsockopt(2) which triggers inclusion of SCTP_SNDRCV cmsg_type,
issue a warning in the log.

This patch implements section 8.1.31. of RFC6458, which adds support
for setting/retrieving SCTP_DEFAULT_SNDINFO:
Applications that wish to use the sendto() system call may wish
to specify a default set of parameters that would normally be
supplied through the inclusion of ancillary data. This socket
option allows such an application to set the default sctp_sndinfo
structure. The application that wishes to use this socket option
simply passes the sctp_sndinfo structure (defined in Section 5.3.4)
to this call. The input parameters accepted by this call include
snd_sid, snd_flags, snd_ppid, and snd_context. The snd_flags
parameter is composed of a bitwise OR of SCTP_UNORDERED, SCTP_EOF,
and SCTP_SENDALL. The snd_assoc_id field specifies the association
to which to apply the parameters. For a one-to-many style socket,
any of the predefined constants are also allowed in this field.
The field is ignored for one-to-one style sockets.

This patch implements section 5.3.6. of RFC6458, that is, support
for 'SCTP Next Receive Information Structure' (SCTP_NXTINFO) which
is placed into ancillary data cmsghdr structure for each recvmsg()

current message.

user space applications as per RFC6458, section 8.1.30.

struct sctp_nxtinfo {

uint32_t nxt_ppid;
uint32_t nxt_length;
sctp_assoc_t nxt_assoc_id;

The mqd_manager module handles MQD data structures.
MQD stands for Memory Queue Descriptor, which is used by the H/W to
keep the usermode queue state in memory.
v3:
Removed new typedefs
Removed pragma pack 4
Remove cik_mqds.h file
Changed lower_32/upper_32 calls to use linux macros
Used new gart allocation functions
Added documentation
v4:
Added missing initialization of the addr field in init_mqd()
Setting the hqd persistent.preload_req bit ON so that when queues switches
on/off, their context will kept and read from the mqd when the cp reassign
them, and thus the dispatched workload context kept consistent without any
interrupts.
v5:
Move amdkfd from drm/radeon/ to drm/amd/
Change format of mqd structure to match latest KV firmware
Add support for AQL queues creation to enable working with open-source HSA
runtime.

The original code for the exynos i2c controller registered for the
"noirq" variants. However during review feedback it was moved to
SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS without anyone noticing that it meant we were no
longer actually "noirq" (despite functions named
exynos5_i2c_suspend_noirq and exynos5_i2c_resume_noirq).
i2c controllers that might have wakeup sources on them seem to need to
resume at noirq time so that the individual drivers can actually read
the i2c bus to handle their wakeup.
NOTE: I took the original review feedback from Wolfram and added
poweroff, thaw, freeze, restore.
This patch has only been compile-tested since I don't have all the
patches needed to make my machine using this i2c driver actually
suspend/resume.

We have a warning already when support for old-fashioned class based
instantiation is about to be dropped somewhen soon from a driver. Let's
have another one when it was actually dropped. This allows to remove the
cruft a little earlier and still let users know what happened in the
rare case they are missing devices after the change. However, there is
enough interest to get rid of class based instantiation rather sooner
than later because it improves boot up time.
