The functionality defined through these flags were actually firmware features
which can change between firmware versions. To make it possible to support
different firmware versions with the same driver, convert the flags to firmware
feature flags.
For backwards compatibility support for old ar6004 firmware FW
API 3 or smaller images we forcefully set the feature bits in the driver.
Starting from FW API 5 the firmware image needs to set them.

The hwrng core asks for random data in the hwrng_register() call itself
from commit d9e7972619. This doesn't play well with virtio -- the
DRIVER_OK bit is only set by virtio core on a successful probe, and
we're not yet out of our probe routine when this call is made. This
causes the host to not acknowledge any requests we put in the virtqueue,
and the insmod or kernel boot process just waits for data to arrive from
the host, which never happens.

Commit d9e7972619 "hwrng: add randomness to system from rng sources"
added a call to rng_get_data() from the hwrng_register() function.
However, some rng devices need initialization before data can be read
from them.
This commit makes the call to rng_get_data() depend on no init fn
pointer being registered by the device. If an init function is
registered, this call is made after device init.

An updater may interfer with the dumping of any of the object lists.
Fix this by using a per-net generation counter and use the
nl_dump_check_consistent() interface so the NLM_F_DUMP_INTR flag is set
to notify userspace that it has to restart the dump since an updater
has interfered.
This patch also replaces the existing consistency checking code in the
rule dumping path since it is broken. Basically, the value that the
dump callback returns is not propagated to userspace via
netlink_dump_start().

The dump operation through netlink is not protected by the nfnl_lock.
Thus, a reader process can be dumping any of the existing object
lists while another process can be updating the list content.
This patch resolves this situation by protecting all the object
lists with RCU in the netlink dump path which is the reader side.
The updater path is already protected via nfnl_lock, so use list

But the original commit was actually a fix for AMD controllers where

This patch adds necessary DT nodes for pcie controllers and miphys for SPEAr13xx
SoCs.
SPEAr1310 has 3 PCIe ports and SPEAr1340 has 1, which are multiplexed with
ahci/sata pins. By default evaluation board of both controller works in ahci
mode. Because of this, these nodes are marked "disabled" by default.
In order to use pcie controller on evaluation boards do necessary modifications
on board and enable (By replacing "disabled" with "okay") pcie and miphy from
respective 'evb' dtsi file.
Phy specific initialization was previously done from spear1340.c, which isn't
required anymore as we have separate drivers for it. Remove it.

In commit 67a9ad9b8a ("mtd: nand: Warn the user if the selected ECC
strength is too weak"), a check was added to inform the user when the
ECC used for a NAND device is weaker than the recommended ECC
advertised by the NAND chip. However, the warning uses WARN_ON(),
which has two undesirable side-effects:
- It just prints to the kernel log the fact that there is a warning
in this file, at this line, but it doesn't explain anything about
the warning itself.
- It dumps a stack trace which is very noisy, for something that the
user is most likely not able to fix. If a certain ECC used by the
kernel is weaker than the advertised one, it's most likely to make
sure the kernel uses an ECC that is compatible with the one used by
the bootloader, and changing the bootloader may not necessarily be
easy. Therefore, normal users would not be able to do anything to
fix this very noisy warning, and will have to suffer from it at
every kernel boot. At least every time I see this stack trace in my
kernel boot log, I wonder what new thing is broken, just to realize
that it's once again this NAND ECC warning.
Therefore, this commit turns:

When a vSMP Foundation box is detected, the function apic_cluster_num() counts
the number of APIC clusters found. If more than one found, a multi board
configuration is assumed, and TSC marked as unstable. This behavior is
incorrect as vSMP Foundation may use processors from single node only, attached
to memory of other nodes - and such node may have more than one APIC cluster
(typically any recent intel box has more than single APIC_CLUSTERID(x)).
To fix this, we simply remove the code which detects a vSMP Foundation box and
affects apic_is_clusted_box() return value. This can be done because later the
kernel checks by itself if the TSC is stable using the
check_tsc_sync_[source|target]() functions and marks TSC as unstable if needed.
