In the commit e0a4b99773 ("hsr: use upper/lower device infrastructure"),
dev_get() was removed but dev_put() in the error path wasn't removed.
So, if creating hsr interface command is failed, the reference counter leak
of lower interface would occur.
Test commands:

ip link add ipvlan0 link dummy0 type ipvlan mode l2
ip link add ipvlan1 link dummy0 type ipvlan mode l2
ip link add hsr0 type hsr slave1 ipvlan0 slave2 ipvlan1
ip link del ipvlan0
Result:

request_irq() is preferred over setup_irq(). Invocations of setup_irq()
occur after memory allocators are ready.
Per tglx[1], setup_irq() existed in olden days when allocators were not
ready by the time early interrupts were initialized.
Hence replace setup_irq() by request_irq().

The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:
struct foo {
int stuff;
struct boo array[];
};
By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.
Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:
"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]
This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

This is an eBPF JIT for RV32G, adapted from the JIT for RV64G and
the 32-bit ARM JIT.
There are two main changes required for this to work compared to
the RV64 JIT.
First, eBPF registers are 64-bit, while RV32G registers are 32-bit.
BPF registers either map directly to 2 RISC-V registers, or reside
in stack scratch space and are saved and restored when used.
Second, many 64-bit ALU operations do not trivially map to 32-bit
operations. Operations that move bits between high and low words,
such as ADD, LSH, MUL, and others must emulate the 64-bit behavior
in terms of 32-bit instructions.
This patch also makes related changes to bpf_jit.h, such
as adding RISC-V instructions required by the RV32 JIT.
Supported features:
The RV32 JIT supports the same features and instructions as the
RV64 JIT, with the following exceptions:
- ALU64 DIV/MOD: Requires loops to implement on 32-bit hardware.
- BPF_XADD | BPF_DW: There's no 8-byte atomic instruction in RV32.
These features are also unsupported on other BPF JITs for 32-bit
architectures.
Testing:
- lib/test_bpf.c
test_bpf: Summary: 378 PASSED, 0 FAILED, [349/366 JIT'ed]
test_bpf: test_skb_segment: Summary: 2 PASSED, 0 FAILED
The tests that are not JITed are all due to use of 64-bit div/mod
or 64-bit xadd.
- tools/testing/selftests/bpf/test_verifier.c
Summary: 1415 PASSED, 122 SKIPPED, 43 FAILED
Tested both with and without BPF JIT hardening.
This is the same set of tests that pass using the BPF interpreter
with the JIT disabled.
Verification and synthesis:
We developed the RV32 JIT using our automated verification tool,
Serval. We have used Serval in the past to verify patches to the
RV64 JIT. We also used Serval to superoptimize the resulting code
through program synthesis.
You can find the tool and a guide to the approach and results here:

This interface is for dGPU Navi1x. Linux dc-pplib interface depends
on window driver dc implementation.
For Navi1x, clock settings of dcn watermarks are fixed. the settings
should be passed to smu during boot up and resume from s3.
boot up: dc calculate dcn watermark clock settings within dc_create,
dcn20_resource_construct, then call pplib functions below to pass
the settings to smu:
smu_set_watermarks_for_clock_ranges
smu_set_watermarks_table
navi10_set_watermarks_table
smu_write_watermarks_table
For Renoir, clock settings of dcn watermark are also fixed values.
dc has implemented different flow for window driver:
dc_hardware_init / dc_set_power_state
dcn10_init_hw
notify_wm_ranges
set_wm_ranges
For Linux
smu_set_watermarks_for_clock_ranges
renoir_set_watermarks_table
smu_write_watermarks_table
dc_hardware_init -> amdgpu_dm_init
dc_set_power_state --> dm_resume
therefore, linux dc-pplib interface of navi10/12/14 is different
from that of Renoir.

Vladimir Oltean <vladimir.oltean@nxp.com>:
From: Vladimir Oltean <vladimir.oltean@nxp.com>
This series aims to remove the most inefficient transfer method from the
NXP DSPI driver.
TCFQ (Transfer Complete Flag) mode works by transferring one word,
waiting for its TX confirmation interrupt (or polling on the equivalent
status bit), sending the next word, etc, until the buffer is complete.
The issue with this mode is that it's fundamentally incompatible with
any sort of batching such as writing to a FIFO. But actually, due to
previous patchset ("Compatible string consolidation for NXP DSPI driver"):
https://patchwork.kernel.org/cover/11414593/
all existing users of TCFQ mode today already support a more advanced
feature set, in the form of XSPI (extended SPI). XSPI brings 2 extra
features:
- Word sizes up to 32 bits. This is sub-utilized today, and acceleration
of smaller-than-32 bpw values is provided.
- "Command cycling", basically the ability to write multiple words in a
row and receiving an interrupt only after the completion of the last
one. This is what enables us to make use of the full FIFO depth of
this controller.
Series was tested on the NXP LS1021A-TSN and LS1043A-RDB boards, both
functionally as well as from a performance standpoint.
The command used to benchmark the increased throughput was:
spidev_test --device /dev/spidev1.0 --bpw 8 --size 256 --cpha --iter 10000000 --speed 20000000
where spidev1.0 is a dummy spidev node, using a chip select that no
peripheral responds to.
On LS1021A, which has a 4-entry-deep FIFO and a less powerful CPU, the
performance increase brought by this patchset is from 2700 kbps to 5800
kbps.
On LS1043A, which has a 16-entry-deep FIFO and a more powerful CPU, the
performance increases from 4100 kbps to 13700 kbps.
On average, SPI software timestamping is not adversely affected by the
extra batching, due to the extra patches.
There is one extra patch which clarifies why the TCFQ users were not
converted to the "other" mode in this driver that makes use of the FIFO,
which would be EOQ mode.
My request to the many people on CC (known users and/or contributors) is
to give this series a test to ensure there are no regressions, and for
the Coldfire maintainers to clarify whether the EOQ limitation is
acceptable for them in the long run.

The description below is already in use for rk3328.dtsi,
but was somehow never added to a document, so add
"rockchip,rk3328-spi", "rockchip,rk3066-spi"
for spi nodes on a rk3328 platform to spi-rockchip.yaml.

Current dts files with 'spi' nodes are manually verified.
In order to automate this process spi-rockchip.txt
has to be converted to yaml. In the new setup
spi-rockchip.yaml will inherit properties from
spi-controller.yaml.
Add document to MAINTAINERS.
Also rk3188.dtsi, rk3288.dtsi, rk3368.dtsi and rk3399.dtsi
use an extra fallback string, so change this in the documentation.
Changed:
"rockchip,rk3188-spi", "rockchip,rk3066-spi"
"rockchip,rk3288-spi", "rockchip,rk3066-spi"
"rockchip,rk3368-spi", "rockchip,rk3066-spi"
"rockchip,rk3399-spi", "rockchip,rk3066-spi"

The SPI bus number is completely optional to Linux, so make the
corresponding device tree property optional as well.
