At few places in caamhash and caamalg, after allocating a dmable
buffer for sg table , the buffer was being modified. As per
definition of DMA_FROM_DEVICE ,afer allocation the memory should
be treated as read-only by the driver. This patch shifts the
allocation of dmable buffer for sg table after it is populated
by the driver, making it read-only as per the DMA API's requirement.

For platforms with virtualization enabled
1. The job ring registers can be written to only is the job ring has been
started i.e STARTR bit in JRSTART register is 1
2. For DECO's under direct software control, with virtualization enabled
PL, BMT, ICID and SDID values need to be provided. These are provided by
selecting a Job ring in start mode whose parameters would be used for the

Some registers like SECVID, CHAVID, CHA Revision Number,
CTPR were defined as 64 bit resgisters. The IP provides
a DWT bit(Double word Transpose) to transpose the two words when
a double word register is accessed. However setting this bit
would also affect the operation of job descriptors as well as
other registers which are truly double word in nature.
So, for the IP to work correctly on big-endian as well as
little-endian SoC's, change is required to access all 32 bit
registers as 32 bit quantities.

can be set when it shouldn't, or not set when it should). Not a major bug
but one that should be fixed and even applied to stable.
The other two patches are cleanup/fixes that are not that critical, but
for an -rc1 release would be nice to have. They both deal with syscall
tracepoints.
It also includes a patch to introduce a new macro for the TRACE_EVENT()
format called __field_struct(). Originally, __field() was used to record
any variable into a trace event, but with the addition of setting the
"is signed" attribute, the check causes anything but a primitive variable
to fail to compile. That is, structs and unions can't be used as they
once were. When the "is signed" check was introduce there were only
primitive variables being recorded. But that will change soon and it
was reported that __field() causes build failures.
To solve the __field() issue, __field_struct() is introduced to allow
trace_events to be able to record complex types too.

Its due to the fact that we call a potentially sleeping function from the bnx2fc
rcv path with preemption disabled (via the get_cpu call embedded in the per-cpu
variable stats lookup in bnx2fc_l2_rcv_thread.
Easy enough fix, we can just move the stats collection later in the function
where we are sure we won't preempt or sleep. This also allows us to not have to
enable pre-emption when doing a per-cpu lookup, since we're certain not to get
rescheduled.

Split sched scan IEs to band specific and not band specific
blocks. Common IEs blocks may be sent to the FW once per command,
instead of per band.
This allows optimization of size of the command, which may be
required by some drivers (eg. iwlmvm with newer firmware version).
As this changes the mac80211 API, update all drivers to use the
new version correctly, even if they don't (yet) make use of the
split data.

Convert all the errors the core XFs code to negative error signs
like the rest of the kernel and remove all the sign conversion we
do in the interface layers.
Errors for conversion (and comparison) found via searches like:
$ git grep " E" fs/xfs
$ git grep "return E" fs/xfs
$ git grep " E[A-Z].*;$" fs/xfs
Negation points found via searches like:
$ git grep "= -[a-z,A-Z]" fs/xfs
$ git grep "return -[a-z,A-D,F-Z]" fs/xfs
$ git grep " -[a-z].*;" fs/xfs
