The current implementation does a naive search of "bootconfig" on the kernel
command line. But this could find "bootconfig" that is part of another
option in quotes (although highly unlikely). But it also needs to find '--'
on the kernel command line to know if it should append a '--' or not when a
bootconfig in the initrd file has an "init" section. The check uses the
naive strstr() to find to see if it exists. But this can return a false
positive if it exists in an option and then the "init" section in the initrd
will not be appended properly.
Using parse_args() to find both of these will solve both of these problems.

Currently symlinks on kernel filesystems, like sysfs, are labeled on
creation with the parent filesystem root sid.
Allow symlinks to inherit the parent directory context, so fine-grained
kernfs labeling can be applied to symlinks too and checking contexts
doesn't complain about them.
For backward-compatibility this behavior is contained in a new policy

Deprecate setting the SELinux checkreqprot tunable to 1 via kernel
parameter or /sys/fs/selinux/checkreqprot. Setting it to 0 is left
intact for compatibility since Android and some Linux distributions
do so for security and treat an inability to set it as a fatal error.
Eventually setting it to 0 will become a no-op and the kernel will
stop using checkreqprot's value internally altogether.
checkreqprot was originally introduced as a compatibility mechanism
for legacy userspace and the READ_IMPLIES_EXEC personality flag.
However, if set to 1, it weakens security by allowing mappings to be
made executable without authorization by policy. The default value
for the SECURITY_SELINUX_CHECKREQPROT_VALUE config option was changed
from 1 to 0 in commit 2a35d196c1 ("selinux: change
CONFIG_SECURITY_SELINUX_CHECKREQPROT_VALUE default") and both Android
and Linux distributions began explicitly setting
/sys/fs/selinux/checkreqprot to 0 some time ago.

pmc_core_slps0_dbg_show() is responsible for displaying debug registers
through slp_s0_debug_status entry. The driver uses the same but
redundant code to dump these debug registers for an S0ix failure.
Hence, refactor the driver by removing redundant code and reuse the
same function that both dumps registers through slp_s0_debug_status
entry and in resume for an S0ix failure.
The changes in this patch are preparatory, so platforms that support low
power sub-states can dump the debug registers when the attempt to enter
low power states are unsuccessful.

registers show the status of the low power mode requirements. The
